Offered here is a 2025-S Ida B. Wells proof quarter from the American Women Quarters Program, struck at the San Francisco Mint. The reverse honors Ida B. Wells, journalist, suffragist and civil rights activist; 2025 is the final year of the American Women series.

Condition: raw and ungraded. A choice original proof with deep mirror fields and frosted devices, giving strong cameo contrast on both sides. No hairlines or marks are visible on the portraits in the photos.

In fairness: a few fine light specks show in the obverse field in the photos; they appear to be dust on the holder window, but please judge from the photos, which are the best description.

Holder: the coin is in a cardboard 2x2 holder, shown in photos 3 and 4. The marker writing on the holder is by others; it is not a grade or an attribution from us.

Year: 2025
Mint: San Francisco (S)
Composition: copper-nickel clad (not silver)

Grade: ungraded (raw)

The coin ships in a protective holder.
