George "The Iceman" Gervin is known for being a prolific scorer, a smooth and stylish basketball player who popularized the "finger roll" shot and a four-time NBA scoring champion. His signature move and calm demeanor on the court, which earned him his "Iceman" nickname, made him a legendary shooting guard who is a member of both the NBA's 50th and 75th Anniversary Teams. About the series: In 2021, to mark the 100th anniversary of the transition from the Morgan dollar to the Peace dollar, the U.S. Mint revived Anthony de Francisci’s Peace dollar design, now struck in .999 fine silver.
