Each 2024 Kennedy Half Dollar Two-Roll Set contains 40 coins with circulating finishes—one roll of 20 coins minted at the Philadelphia Mint and one roll of 20 coins minted at the Denver Mint.
These coins have never been placed into circulation. The Kennedy half dollars feature the original 1964 obverse (heads) design with the image of President John F. Kennedy. The design inscriptions on the obverse are “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “2022.”
The reverse (tails) design is based on the Presidential Coat of Arms. Inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and “HALF DOLLAR.”
Each roll contains 20 coins with a denomination of 50 cents, composed of 8.33% nickel and 91.67% copper. The coins are business strike and come in their original wrapped rolls from the mints in Philadelphia and Denver.
These Kennedy Half Dollars are not modified and are certified by the U.S. Mint. Please Note: United States Mint coins are rolled by an automated machine process and not by hand. We cannot guarantee that the obverse or reverse side of a coin will be at either end of a coin roll.
