The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential dollar was struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 2014 as part of the U.S. Mint's Presidential $1 Coin Program, honoring the 32nd President of the United States. FDR guided the nation through the Great Depression and World War II, and his portrait is one of the most recognizable of the entire golden dollar series.
