2002-S Lincoln Memorial Cent 1C Proof San Francisco Mint Red Cameo Choice Proof

Offered here is a genuine 2002-S Lincoln Memorial cent in proof, struck at the San Francisco Mint for that year's proof sets. Proof cents were not made for circulation; about 3.2 million were struck. The S mint mark is clear below the date.

Grade: Choice Proof, Red, with cameo contrast. Deep mirror fields set off frosted devices on both sides, from Lincoln's portrait and the legends to the Memorial building on the reverse. Full original red color.

Condition, please read: there is a small dark spot in the obverse field to the left of Lincoln's hair and a tiny spot at the lower left edge of the bust. No wear, and no rim damage seen. Please see all the photos, which are the best description.
