Offered here is a 2001-D Vermont State Quarter from the Denver Mint, certified MS67 by PCGS.
Vermont was the 14th state honored in the 50 State Quarters Program and the first quarter released in 2001. The reverse shows a farmer collecting maple sap from tapped trees, with Camel's Hump Mountain behind him and the state motto FREEDOM AND UNITY. MS67 is a high grade for a business-strike state quarter, well above the typical uncirculated coin.
The coin sits in an earlier-generation PCGS holder from the State Quarter era: the label shows the Series and Coin numbers, and the barcode and PCGS hologram are on the back of the holder.
Please note: the holder plastic shows light handling scuffs and fine lines that are visible in the close-ups. Please see the photos, which are the best description.
Grading service: PCGS
