Offered here is a 1958-D Franklin Half Dollar from the Denver Mint, still showing bright mint luster across Benjamin Franklin’s portrait and the Liberty Bell reverse. Designed by U.S. Mint Chief Engraver John R. Sinnock, the Franklin half was struck for only 16 years (1948–1963) before being replaced by the Kennedy half after President Kennedy’s assassination. Uncirculated pieces are popular with both type collectors and silver stackers.

Instead, coins travel in a vinyl flip, a thick baggie, or a cardboard flip, whichever best protects that particular coin. We ship daily, Monday through Friday, excluding all USPS holidays.
