Offered here is a 1957 Franklin half dollar (Philadelphia, no mint mark) in Uncirculated condition with attractive natural toning on both sides. Golden toning covers the coin, deepening to rose and russet with hints of blue toward the rims, framing Franklin's portrait and the Liberty Bell. It shifts nicely as the coin is tilted in the light, as the angled photos show. A great piece for toning collectors and Franklin set builders.

Grade: Uncirculated. Franklin's hair, cheek and shoulder show no wear, and luster runs across both sides under the toning. The lettering on the bell and the bell's crack are sharp.

Condition, please read: in fairness, the coin has scattered light marks and fine lines, most noticeable on the Liberty Bell and in the obverse fields, as is common on Franklin halves that went through Mint bags. A couple of tiny dark specks show on the bell and near the ear. Please see all the photos, which are the best description.
