1947-D Lincoln Wheat Cent 1C ICG MS66 RD Red Graded Shiny Post WWII Penny

1947-D Lincoln Wheat Cent graded MS66 RD (Red) by ICG, the Independent Coin Graders. A shiny, vivid red Denver Mint wheat penny from just after World War II in a sealed, protective holder.

The 1947-D has a mintage of 194,750,000. Finding a Wheat cent from this era that still has full original red color at the MS66 level is much harder than finding a brown, circulated one, so a Red gem like this is a real upgrade for a date set or a Wheat cent type set.

About the series: the Lincoln cent, designed by Victor David Brenner, was introduced in 1909 to mark the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birth, the first regular U.S. coin to show a real person. The wheat ears reverse was used until 1958. We have more than one of this coin in stock, so the photo is a representative sample, and the certification number on your coin may differ.

BOURNE2TREASURE
WHO WE ARE Bourne2Treasure is a family-owned business based in Dayton, TN, proud to be celebrating our 25th year in operation. Along the way we’ve earned over 27,000 pieces of feedback as a seller.
SHIPPING Every coin we sell ships in protective packaging — no exceptions. The exact container depends on the shipping class: for example, our Standard Envelope option is limited to a maximum of 1/4" thickness, so a bubble mailer isn’t used there. Instead, coins travel in a vinyl flip, a thick baggie, or a cardboard flip, whichever best protects that particular coin. We ship daily, Monday through Friday, excluding all USPS holidays.
RETURNS / GUARANTEE We maintain (unless otherwise noted on items like bullion) a 30-day, FREE-to-you return policy. All we want is happy customers — if you don’t like what we send, just send it back, free of charge.
QUESTIONS? CONTACT US Contact us Monday–Friday, 9–5 EST, with any questions or concerns. Our number one goal is happy customers who buy from us time and time again. If you ever have an issue, please let us know — and remember, our return policy above has you covered.
GRADING DISCLAIMER We arrive at an approximate grade using a combination of our own years of experience and, increasingly, Artificial Intelligence (AI). We are not a professional grading service, and any grade shown is only an approximation — please make your own determination based on the photos provided.
