1943 Walking Liberty Half Dollar 50C AU About Uncirculated 90% Silver Toned WWIIOffered here is a 1943 Walking Liberty Half Dollar from the Philadelphia Mint, struck in 90% silver during World War II. 53,190,000 were minted in 1943. This coin shows only light wear on the highest points of Liberty’s head and hand, with good skirt lines and luster remaining in the fields. The obverse carries attractive golden and rainbow toning, and the eagle on the reverse shows strong feather detail. Designed by Adolph A. Weinman, the Walking Liberty half dollar (1916-1947) is widely considered one of the most beautiful US coin designs, and its obverse was later reused on the American Silver Eagle.

WHO WE ARE Bourne2Treasure is a family-owned business based in Dayton, TN, proud to be celebrating our 25th year in operation. Along the way we’ve earned over 27,000 pieces of feedback as a seller.
SHIPPING Every coin we sell ships in protective packaging — no exceptions. The exact container depends on the shipping class: for example, our Standard Envelope option is limited to a maximum of 1/4" thickness, so a bubble mailer isn’t used there. Instead, coins travel in a vinyl flip, a thick baggie, or a cardboard flip, whichever best protects that particular coin. We ship daily, Monday through Friday, excluding all USPS holidays.
RETURNS / GUARANTEE We maintain (unless otherwise noted on items like bullion) a 30-day, FREE-to-you return policy. All we want is happy customers — if you don’t like what we send, just send it back, free of charge.
QUESTIONS? CONTACT US Contact us Monday–Friday, 9–5 EST, with any questions or concerns. Our number one goal is happy customers who buy from us time and time again. If you ever have an issue, please let us know — and remember, our return policy above has you covered.
GRADING DISCLAIMER We arrive at an approximate grade using a combination of our own years of experience and, increasingly, Artificial Intelligence (AI). We are not a professional grading service, and any grade shown is only an approximation — please make your own determination based on the photos provided.
