1942 Jefferson Nickel 5C Good to Fine G-F Circulated Pre-Silver Philadelphia1942 Jefferson Nickel in average circulated Good to Fine (G-F) condition. A real piece of World War II era America, over 80 years old, from the Philadelphia Mint. Great for date sets, albums, school projects, or a first coin collection. The 1942-P Jefferson nickel has a mintage of 57,873,000. This is the regular copper-nickel version struck early in 1942, before the Mint switched to the 35% silver wartime alloy later that year. The silver “war nickels” carry a large mintmark above Monticello; this coin does not. About the series: Felix Schlag won a public competition to design the Jefferson nickel, introduced in 1938 with Monticello on the reverse. We have many of this coin in stock (28 available), the photo is a representative sample, and each coin we ship is the same grade or better.

BOURNE2TREASURE
WHO WE ARE Bourne2Treasure is a family-owned business based in Dayton, TN, proud to be celebrating our 25th year in operation. Along the way we’ve earned over 27,000 pieces of feedback as a seller.
SHIPPING Every coin we sell ships in protective packaging — no exceptions. The exact container depends on the shipping class: for example, our Standard Envelope option is limited to a maximum of 1/4" thickness, so a bubble mailer isn’t used there. Instead, coins travel in a vinyl flip, a thick baggie, or a cardboard flip, whichever best protects that particular coin. We ship daily, Monday through Friday, excluding all USPS holidays.
RETURNS / GUARANTEE We maintain (unless otherwise noted on items like bullion) a 30-day, FREE-to-you return policy. All we want is happy customers — if you don’t like what we send, just send it back, free of charge.
QUESTIONS? CONTACT US Contact us Monday–Friday, 9–5 EST, with any questions or concerns. Our number one goal is happy customers who buy from us time and time again. If you ever have an issue, please let us know — and remember, our return policy above has you covered.
GRADING DISCLAIMER We arrive at an approximate grade using a combination of our own years of experience and, increasingly, Artificial Intelligence (AI). We are not a professional grading service, and any grade shown is only an approximation — please make your own determination based on the photos provided.
