On offer is a 1935-D Washington Quarter in honest Good condition — an early Denver issue from just the fourth year of the Washington quarter series. The D mintmark is clear below the wreath (see our close-up), the date is bold, and the portrait and eagle are fully outlined with the smooth, even wear of a coin that worked hard through the Depression years.
Early 1930s Denver quarters are the tougher branch-mint coins of the series, and solid collectible examples keep getting harder to pull from circulation finds. A proper hole-filler for the Washington album.
