1931-S Lincoln Wheat Cent XF Key Date San Francisco 1c Penny 866,000 MintageThe 1931-S is one of the great key dates of the Lincoln Wheat cent series. With a mintage of only 866,000 — one of the lowest of any regular Lincoln cent — it is a coin every Wheat cent collector eventually needs. This exact coin is a solid Extremely Fine with even chocolate brown color, clear wheat lines and a bold, original S mint mark under the date. Light scattered marks are visible in the fields, and there are a few small dark spots near the rim. Please see the close-up photos.
