The 1931-D Lincoln cent is a semi-key date in the wheat cent series. Only 4,480,000 were struck at the Denver Mint during the Great Depression, one of the lowest mintages of the series.

This exact coin grades VF-XF in our opinion, with good wheat line detail and light wear on the cheek and jaw. The surfaces are brown and the D mint mark is clear below the date. There are scattered light scratches in the right obverse field, a small dark spot between the C and E of CENT on the reverse, and a few minor carbon specks. Please view all of the close-up photos.
