1930 P Standing Liberty Quarter 25c 90% Silver VG Final Year Type 2 PhiladelphiaOffered here is a 1930 Standing Liberty quarter struck at the Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark), in 90% silver. 1930 is the final year of the Standing Liberty series (1916-1930). This is the Type 2 design with the recessed date. The small "M" to the right of the date is designer Hermon MacNeil's initial. Grade: VG (Very Good). The date reads 1930, with the 1 weak at the bottom. LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST and the stars beside the gateway are readable. The reverse lettering is bold and the eagle is clear, with some feather separation showing in the wing. Liberty's chest and the shield are worn smooth. The coin has natural, even gray-silver toning. Condition, please read: in fairness, there is a small dark spot on the lower gown near Liberty's foot, light scattered marks and fine scratches on the chest and shield, and a few light lines on the eagle's far wing. No rim damage. Please see all the photos, which are the best description. About the series: Hermon A. MacNeil’s Standing Liberty quarter was struck from 1916 to 1930. Because the date sat on a raised pedestal it wore away quickly in circulation, leading the Mint to recess the date in 1925. The San Francisco and Denver issues of the 1920s are much scarcer than their Philadelphia counterparts.

WHO WE ARE Bourne2Treasure is a family-owned business based in Dayton, TN, proud to be celebrating our 25th year in operation. Along the way we’ve earned over 27,000 pieces of feedback as a seller.
SHIPPING Every coin we sell ships in protective packaging — no exceptions. The exact container depends on the shipping class: for example, our Standard Envelope option is limited to a maximum of 1/4" thickness, so a bubble mailer isn’t used there. Instead, coins travel in a vinyl flip, a thick baggie, or a cardboard flip, whichever best protects that particular coin. We ship daily, Monday through Friday, excluding all USPS holidays.
RETURNS / GUARANTEE We maintain (unless otherwise noted on items like bullion) a 30-day, FREE-to-you return policy. All we want is happy customers — if you don’t like what we send, just send it back, free of charge.
QUESTIONS? CONTACT US Contact us Monday–Friday, 9–5 EST, with any questions or concerns. Our number one goal is happy customers who buy from us time and time again. If you ever have an issue, please let us know — and remember, our return policy above has you covered.
GRADING DISCLAIMER We arrive at an approximate grade using a combination of our own years of experience and, increasingly, Artificial Intelligence (AI). We are not a professional grading service, and any grade shown is only an approximation — please make your own determination based on the photos provided.
