On offer is a 1925-S Mercury Dime in Fine condition — a better San Francisco date in the series with a low-ish mintage of 5,850,000. The S mintmark is clear and crisp at the base of the fasces (see our close-up photo), full LIBERTY around the rim, a bold date, and strong vertical lines showing in the fasces. The rims are full on both sides.
The 1925-S gets harder to find in every grade above Good — a solid mid-grade example like this one fills a tougher hole in the Mercury dime album at a fraction of higher-grade money.
