1921 P Mercury Dime Key Date Low Mintage 1,230,000 Fine 90% Silver 10c TonedOffered here is a 1921 Mercury dime (Winged Liberty Head) struck at the Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark), in 90% silver. The 1921 is one of the key dates of the Mercury dime series, with a low mintage of just 1,230,000, among the lowest of any regular-issue Mercury dime. Grade: Fine. LIBERTY and all the reverse lettering are clear and separated from the rim. The wing shows some feather detail, and the fasces on the reverse shows portions of all the vertical rods with the horizontal bands visible. The diagonal bands are worn flat. The coin has natural gray-silver toning with hints of blue and gold near the rims. Condition, please read: in fairness, there are light scattered scratches on the obverse, mostly across Liberty's cheek and neck and in the right field, plus a thin line in the field near the date. The date is worn but readable; please see the photos. There are a few small dark spots on the reverse, mainly on the left olive branch. Please see all the photos, which are the best description. About the series: Adolph A. Weinman’s Winged Liberty Head dime, struck from 1916 to 1945, shows Liberty in a winged cap symbolizing freedom of thought; the public mistook her for the Roman god Mercury and the nickname stuck. Every Mercury dime is 90% silver.

WHO WE ARE Bourne2Treasure is a family-owned business based in Dayton, TN, proud to be celebrating our 25th year in operation. Along the way we’ve earned over 27,000 pieces of feedback as a seller.
SHIPPING Every coin we sell ships in protective packaging — no exceptions. The exact container depends on the shipping class: for example, our Standard Envelope option is limited to a maximum of 1/4" thickness, so a bubble mailer isn’t used there. Instead, coins travel in a vinyl flip, a thick baggie, or a cardboard flip, whichever best protects that particular coin. We ship daily, Monday through Friday, excluding all USPS holidays.
RETURNS / GUARANTEE We maintain (unless otherwise noted on items like bullion) a 30-day, FREE-to-you return policy. All we want is happy customers — if you don’t like what we send, just send it back, free of charge.
QUESTIONS? CONTACT US Contact us Monday–Friday, 9–5 EST, with any questions or concerns. Our number one goal is happy customers who buy from us time and time again. If you ever have an issue, please let us know — and remember, our return policy above has you covered.
GRADING DISCLAIMER We arrive at an approximate grade using a combination of our own years of experience and, increasingly, Artificial Intelligence (AI). We are not a professional grading service, and any grade shown is only an approximation — please make your own determination based on the photos provided.
