1921 Morgan Silver Dollar $1 BU Brilliant Uncirculated 90% Silver Final Year1921 Morgan Silver Dollar struck at the Philadelphia Mint (no mintmark) in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition. This is the final year of the Morgan series. No wear on Liberty’s cheek or hair, full feather detail on the eagle, bright white luster with light golden toning near the rims. The 1921-P has a mintage of 44,690,000. The Morgan design had been dormant since 1904, and was revived in 1921 after the Pittman Act of 1918 melted over 270 million silver dollars. Later in 1921 the Peace dollar replaced the Morgan, so 1921 is the last date of a coin that defined the Old West. Each coin is 90% silver and 10% copper with 0.7734 troy ounce of pure silver.
