Offered here is a 1908 Indian Head cent, struck in bronze at the Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark), from the second-to-last year of this classic series.
Grade: Fine. Full rims on both sides with a bold date and complete legends. The feathers are fully outlined with center veins and good detail, and the reverse shows clear shield lines and an oak wreath with leaf veins and a well defined bow and arrows. The headband is flat and LIBERTY is not readable in our photos.
Condition, please read: even medium brown with natural surfaces. There are fine scattered marks across the headband and feathers, a few light lines in the obverse field and light lines near ONE CENT on the reverse. No rim damage seen. Please see all the photos, which are the best description.
Composition: bronze (95% copper, 5% tin and zinc)
Denomination: 1 Cent
Mintage: 32,327,987
Ungraded and uncertified. The approximate grade is our opinion only. THE COIN SHOWN IS THE EXACT COIN YOU WILL RECEIVE.
