Offered here is a 1907 Indian Head cent, struck in bronze at the Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark), a genuine penny well over 100 years old.
Grade: XF+ (Extremely Fine). An upper-end XF with a full, bold LIBERTY on the headband and complete feathers with fine lines to the tips. The ribbon is fully separated from the hair, and the hair curls are sharp. The reverse shows crisp shield lines, a bold ONE CENT and an oak wreath with leaf veins. Full rims on both sides.
Condition, please read: even medium brown. There are dark spots on the obverse, including a dark patch on the cheek, spots in the field in front of the face, and smaller spots on the neck and ribbon. The reverse has a couple of small green specks at the right edge of the wreath and near the bottom of the wreath. Light marks consistent with circulation. Please see all the photos, which are the best description.
