Offered here is a 1907 Indian Head cent, struck in bronze at the Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark), a genuine penny over 115 years old from the final years of the series.
Grade: VF (Very Fine). Full rims on both sides, with a bold date and a complete UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. LIBERTY shows on the headband, with some letters weak, and the feathers are well outlined with good inner detail. The reverse has clear vertical lines in the shield, a bold ONE CENT, and an oak wreath showing most of its leaf detail and a detailed bow.
Condition, please read: even medium brown with natural surfaces. There is a small teal-green verdigris spot between the N and T of CENT and a tiny one at the lower edge of the shield, plus light marks consistent with circulation. Please see all the photos, which are the best description.
Composition: bronze (95% copper, 5% tin and zinc)
Denomination: 1 Cent
Mintage: 108,138,618
Ungraded and uncertified. The approximate grade is our opinion only. THE COIN SHOWN IS THE EXACT COIN YOU WILL RECEIVE.
