1906-S Barber Half Dollar AG-G San Francisco 90% Silver 50c Earthquake Year CoinStruck at the San Francisco Mint in 1906, the year of the great San Francisco earthquake, this Barber half dollar is a 90% silver coin with a mintage of 1,740,154. This exact coin is honestly worn in the About Good to Good range: LIBERTY is worn away and the rims are worn into the lettering at the left of the reverse, but the date and the S mintmark are clear. For full disclosure there are scattered scratches, vertical scratches on the shield, a rusty brown deposit under the eagle’s head and near the ribbon, and dark spots in the fields.
