Offered here is a 1905 Indian Head cent, struck in bronze at the Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark). A sharp, high grade example of a classic early 20th century US cent with the oak wreath and shield reverse.
Grade: Uncirculated (UNC), Brown. Every feather is complete with full center lines and barbs, LIBERTY is full and bold on the headband, and the diamonds on the ribbon show. The hair curls and ribbon are crisp. On the reverse the shield lines are separate and bold, and the oak wreath, bow and arrows show full detail. Satiny surfaces with an even, natural chocolate brown color. Full rims with bold denticles all the way around.
Condition, please read: there are fine hairlines in the obverse fields, a short thin scratch inside the O of ONE, and a few small marks and tiny dark spots around ONE CENT on the reverse. Please see all the photos, which are the best description.
Composition: bronze (95% copper, 5% tin and zinc)
Mintage: 80,717,011
Condition: ungraded, raw coin. The grade is our opinion only.
The coin ships in a protective holder.
The coin shown is the exact coin you will receive.
