1900-O Barber Dime 10C 90% Silver New Orleans Mint Low Mintage 2.01M GoodOffered here is a 1900-O Barber (Liberty Head) dime struck at the New Orleans Mint (O mint mark below the wreath on the reverse, faint from wear), in 90% silver. Charles Barber's design ran from 1892 to 1916, and this one was struck in 1900, the final year of the 19th century. Mintage: only 2,010,000, about one ninth of the Philadelphia mintage that year. Grade: Good. The date, legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the full rims are clear on the obverse; LIBERTY on the headband is worn away, as is normal at this grade. The reverse wreath and ONE DIME are clear. Condition, please read: there are scattered dark spots on Liberty's head and in the obverse fields, and a diagonal scratch across DIME on the reverse (shown close up in the last coin photo). There is also a small toning spot in the lower reverse field and a few light marks from circulation. No holes or rim dings seen. Please see all the photos, which are the best description.
