1897-1907 Indian Head Cent Penny Lot 11 Coins Complete Date Run Good 1C Set

Offered here is a complete 11-year run of Indian Head cents, 1897 through 1907: one coin each of 1897, 1898, 1899, 1900, 1901, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1905, 1906 and 1907. All are bronze Philadelphia issues (Indian cents carry no mint mark before 1908). A ready-made start or fill for an Indian cent album.

Grade: Good (G), with several Good+ coins. Every coin has a full, readable date and legends and full rims on both sides (the 1897 is the weakest, with the rim touching OF AMERICA). As is typical at this grade, LIBERTY is worn off the headband. The reverses show the shield and oak wreath with faint detail; the 1902, 1903, 1904 and 1905 show the most wreath detail.

Condition, please read: natural brown circulated coins with uneven toning. 1897: light scratches across the feathers. 1898: a small green spot by the date and dark spotting around the reverse wreath. 1899: light scratches on the cheek and feathers. 1904: darker purple-brown toning on the obverse. 1906: scattered dark spots on the face and headdress. 1907: green verdigris on the reverse around ONE CENT.
