Offered here is an 1894 Indian Head cent from the Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark). With a mintage of just under 16.8 million, the 1894 is the lowest-mintage Indian cent from 1880 to 1899 and a well-known better date.

Grade: Good (G). The rims are full, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is readable, and the date is bold. The headdress is outlined with the feather tips separate. On the reverse, ONE CENT is bold, the shield lines show, and the oak wreath and bow are outlined. LIBERTY on the headband is worn away, so we grade it Good.

Condition, please read: the reverse has a long thin diagonal scratch running from the left rim through the wreath and the C of CENT. The obverse has a few small rim bumps at the upper right and some small dark spots near the rim. Even medium brown color. Please look at all the photos, which are the best description.

Composition: bronze (95% copper, 5% tin and zinc)
Mintage: 16,752,132
Condition: ungraded, raw coin. The grade is our opinion only.

The coin ships in a protective holder.

The coin shown is the exact coin you will receive.
