Offered here is an 1894 Indian Head cent from the Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark). With about 16.75 million struck, 1894 has the lowest mintage of any Indian cent from the 1890s, which makes it a better date in the series.

Grade: Good+. The rims are full all the way around, and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the date are bold and well clear of the rim. Every feather in the headdress is outlined and separate from the head. On the reverse, ONE CENT is bold, all of the vertical shield lines are clear, and the oak wreath shows its leaf clusters, ribbon and arrows. LIBERTY on the headband is worn away, which keeps it in the Good range.

Condition, please read: even medium chocolate brown. There are light scattered scratches and marks on the portrait and fields, a couple of small nicks on the edge of the rim (most visible to the right of the date on the obverse and at the left edge of the reverse), and a small dark spot in the left side of the wreath. Please look at all the photos, which are the best description.

Composition: bronze (95% copper, 5% tin and zinc)
Mintage: 16,752,132
Condition: ungraded, raw coin. The grade is our opinion only.

The coin ships in a protective holder.
