Offered here is an 1894 Indian Head cent from the Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark). With about 16.7 million struck, 1894 has the lowest mintage of any Indian cent of the 1890s, a well-known better date in the series.

Grade: G (Good). The full portrait and all of the headdress feathers are boldly outlined, and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the date are complete and clear of the rim. Rims are full all the way around on both sides. On the reverse, ONE CENT is bold, the shield lines show, and the oak wreath still has some leaf detail inside its outline. LIBERTY on the headband is worn away, as is normal for this grade.

Condition, please read: even medium brown. There are light scattered marks and fine scratches on the portrait and fields, as expected for a circulated coin, and a few small dark spots on the cheek and neck. No rim damage seen. Please look at all the photos, which are the best description.

Composition: bronze (95% copper, 5% tin and zinc)
Mintage: 16,752,132
Condition: ungraded, raw coin. The grade is our opinion only.

The coin ships in a protective holder.
