1893 Indian Head Cent Penny 1C Good+ Bronze Philadelphia 19th Century US Coin
Offered here is an 1893 Indian Head cent, struck in bronze at the Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark), a genuine 19th century penny over 130 years old.
Grade: Good+. An upper-end Good with full rims and denticles on both sides. The date is bold and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is complete. The feathers are fully outlined and separate from the head, with no LIBERTY on the headband, as expected in Good. The reverse is stronger, with clear vertical lines in the shield, a bold ONE CENT and the oak wreath showing leaf texture.
Condition: even medium-dark brown with natural, lightly granular surfaces, and a few small dark spots and light marks on the cheek and in the fields. No rim damage seen. Please see all the photos, which are the best description.
Composition: bronze (95% copper, 5% tin and zinc)
Denomination: 1 Cent
Mintage: 46,642,195
Ungraded and uncertified. The approximate grade is our opinion only. THE COIN SHOWN IS THE EXACT COIN YOU WILL RECEIVE.
