1891 Seated Liberty Dime G-VG Philadelphia 90% Silver 10c Final Year Seated Dime1891 was the last year of the long-running Seated Liberty dime, first struck in 1837, before the Barber design arrived in 1892. This Philadelphia issue (no mintmark below the wreath) is a classic last-year-of-type 90% silver coin. This exact coin is honestly worn in the Good to Very Good range: Liberty is seated clearly, the date is bold and part of LIBERTY shows on the shield. The ONE DIME wreath is full. It has dark mottled toning and hairline scratches on both sides, visible in the photos.
