1891 Indian Head Cent 1C F-VF Fine to Very Fine Natural Toned Bronze Penny Coin

Designed by Chief Engraver James B. Longacre, the Indian Head cent was struck from 1859 to 1909. From 1860 the reverse carried an oak wreath with a small shield.

This 1891 grades about Fine to Very Fine: LIBERTY on the headband is faint, while the feather details, wreath and sharp shield lines remain clear.

Natural toning with hints of rose and green over brown, and an orange-brown reverse. Please note a rim nick on the front to the right of the date, a small scratch through the O in ONE, and light marks in the fields.
