| ✓ This is the EXACT coin you will receive 1887 Morgan Silver Dollar $1 BU Philadelphia Mint 90% Silver US CoinOffered here is an 1887 Morgan Silver Dollar struck at the Philadelphia Mint. This coin grades approximately BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) with no wear and full original luster visible under direct light. Composition: 90% Silver, 10% Copper Weight: 26.73 grams Diameter: 38.1 mm About the series: The Morgan dollar was designed by U.S. Mint engraver George T. Morgan and first struck in 1878 under the Bland-Allison Act, which required the Treasury to buy Western silver and coin it into dollars. It was minted until 1904 and again in 1921, at Philadelphia, New Orleans (O), San Francisco (S), Carson City (CC) and, in 1921 only, Denver (D). Each contains 26.73 grams of 90% silver. Hundreds of millions were melted under the Pittman Act of 1918, so every surviving Morgan is a genuine piece of Old West history.

WHO WE ARE Bourne2Treasure is a family-owned business based in Dayton, TN, proud to be celebrating our 25th year in operation. Along the way we’ve earned over 27,000 pieces of feedback as a seller.
SHIPPING Every coin we sell ships in protective packaging — no exceptions. The exact container depends on the shipping class: for example, our Standard Envelope option is limited to a maximum of 1/4" thickness, so a bubble mailer isn’t used there. Instead, coins travel in a vinyl flip, a thick baggie, or a cardboard flip, whichever best protects that particular coin. We ship daily, Monday through Friday, excluding all USPS holidays.
RETURNS / GUARANTEE We maintain (unless otherwise noted on items like bullion) a 30-day, FREE-to-you return policy. All we want is happy customers — if you don’t like what we send, just send it back, free of charge.
QUESTIONS? CONTACT US Contact us Monday–Friday, 9–5 EST, with any questions or concerns. Our number one goal is happy customers who buy from us time and time again. If you ever have an issue, please let us know — and remember, our return policy above has you covered.
GRADING DISCLAIMER We arrive at an approximate grade using a combination of our own years of experience and, increasingly, Artificial Intelligence (AI). We are not a professional grading service, and any grade shown is only an approximation — please make your own determination based on the photos provided.
