1880 Indian Head Cent Penny 1C Good G Bronze Antique 19th Century US Type Coin

Offered here is an 1880 Indian Head cent, struck in bronze at the Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark). A genuine 19th century United States cent, more than 140 years old, with the oak wreath and shield reverse.
Grade: Good. The date, legends and rims are complete and clear. The feathers are boldly outlined, with detail at the base. LIBERTY on the headband is worn away, as is usual at this grade. On the reverse the shield stripes are clear and the oak wreath is fully outlined with faint leaf detail.
Condition, please read: in fairness, there is rim damage on the obverse at about 10 o'clock, left of UNITED, a dent with raised metal that also shows on the reverse rim. There are small green verdigris spots at the rim damage, near the date, and scattered on the reverse around the wreath and ONE CENT, plus light marks and small nicks on the portrait, fields and right rim. Please see all the photos, which are the best description.
Composition: bronze (95% copper, 5% tin and zinc)
Mintage: 38,964,955
Condition: ungraded, raw coin. The grade is our opinion only.
The coin ships in a protective holder.
The coin shown is the exact coin you will receive.
