1865 Indian Head Cent G Details Environmental Damage Civil War Year 1c BronzeThe Indian Head cent (1859–1909) is one of the most collected American series, and the Civil War years of the 1860s are especially popular with collectors of history. The 1865 was struck in the last year of the Civil War, the second year of the bronze composition. Please read carefully: this exact coin has Good details but heavy environmental damage. Both sides show corrosion and pitting, green verdigris and crusty deposits. The date and main design are still readable. It is priced and described as a damaged coin — please judge it from the photos.
