1858 Seated Liberty Half Dime AG-G About Good to Good 90% Silver H10c Old CoinThe Seated Liberty half dime was the smallest silver coin of its day, a tiny 90% silver five-cent piece that circulated through the pre–Civil War years. Christian Gobrecht’s design shows Liberty seated with shield and pole, with HALF DIME inside a wreath on the reverse. This exact 1858 Philadelphia half dime grades About Good to Good with a clear date and full HALF DIME on the reverse. It has rough, granular surfaces with heavy hairlines and scratches across Liberty, rim damage with bumps and a rough rim (especially at the left obverse), and dark toning spots near the bottom reverse rim.
