1858 Flying Eagle Cent — About Good (AG) — First US Small Cent Type
An honest, well-traveled About Good example of the famous 1858 Flying Eagle Cent — the second and final year of America's first small cent. The eagle in flight is fully outlined and the legends are readable, with the heavy even wear of a coin that worked hard in pre-Civil War commerce. A budget-friendly way to put this short two-year type (1857-1858) in your collection.
