The reverse shows Mississippi's magnolia blossoms with \"The Magnolia State\" and the 1817 statehood date.\u003c\/p\u003e\n      \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGold color, please note:\u003c\/strong\u003e this coin has an even \u003cstrong\u003egold color\u003c\/strong\u003e on both sides and around the rim. Regular state quarters leave the Mint silver colored, so this is \u003cstrong\u003enot a Mint finish\u003c\/strong\u003e. It looks like the gold layering applied to state quarters after release, but it has not been tested, so it is described here by color only. The coin is copper-nickel clad underneath and is \u003cstrong\u003enot gold\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n      \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eUncirculated.\u003c\/strong\u003e Washington's cheek and hair and the magnolia petals and leaves show no wear, and all lettering is sharp.
