The D mint mark is just above the beam of the Liberty Bell on the reverse. 1963 is the \u003cstrong\u003elast year of the Franklin half dollar\u003c\/strong\u003e, which ran from 1948 to 1963 before the Kennedy half replaced it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n      \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGrade: Extremely Fine (XF).\u003c\/strong\u003e Light wear on the cheek, shoulder and the hair behind the ear, with the curls and hair strands still separated.
