There is no mint mark on the reverse, left of the fasces base, which is correct for Philadelphia. Designed by Adolph A. Weinman, the Mercury dime is one of the most admired U.S. silver designs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n      \u003cp\u003eThe date 1943 is clear, LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST are bold, and every letter of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM and ONE DIME stands clear of the rim.\u003c\/p\u003e\n      \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGrade: Very Fine.\u003c\/strong\u003e The vertical rods of the fasces are complete and the horizontal bands are visible, with the diagonal bands starting to show. The hairline and the feathers of the wing are partly visible, with the highest points of the hair and wing worn smooth. Even light gray color with a touch of gold toning.\u003c\/p\u003e\n      \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCondition, please read:\u003c\/strong\u003e there are light scratches and hairlines on the obverse, mostly across the cheek and portrait, with a few thin lines in the fields in front of the face and near the T and Y of LIBERTY. Both sides have scattered small marks from circulation. No rim damage or holes.
