James Earle Fraser's classic design ran from 1913 to 1938, and 1937 was the last year it was struck at Philadelphia and San Francisco.\u003c\/p\u003e\n      \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGrade: Very Fine (VF).\u003c\/strong\u003e The full date is clear and bold, which is often worn away on Buffalo nickels. LIBERTY stands well clear of the rim, the horn is outlined nearly to the tip, and all reverse lettering and the mint mark are bold.
