Designed by Chief Engraver Charles E. Barber, the Liberty Head (Barber) dime was struck from 1892 to 1916, when it was replaced by the Mercury dime. A classic early 20th century silver type coin, well over 110 years old.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGrade: Good.\u003c\/strong\u003e Liberty's portrait is in full outline with the hair, cap and wreath worn smooth; the word LIBERTY on the headband has worn away, as is normal for the grade. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the date 1912 are complete and clear, and the rims are full on both sides.
